dreamed of a different type of society and a different future.

prophets – Do they say anything about our future?
Most communities have a prophet or two - in education we have some learned professors who have visions of how things could be, in the computing world there are futurologists who strive to visualise new ways of working, and in business there are 'gurus' who try to predict trends and flows. It's the economists that we depend on most these days though - and event they been proved wrong quite a few times??
