When a baby joins the family
it is usually a time for the family to get together, bring presents and
celebrate. But Mary was a long way from home. Joseph was with her, but all she
had for family were the animals in the stable and the shepherds that came to
visit.
How do you think Mary felt -
how would you feel?
Having seen some new mothers' reactions shortly after a birth I suspect that she just wanted all these people to go away and leave her alone to cuddle her baby.
